Item Details:
The Houston Computer Reader is a great way to reduce eye strain while working on your computer. These unique unisex frames provide dual powered bifocal lenses so you can read printed material and your computer screen with one pair of glasses. Each pair comes with a snazzy gold reading glasses pouch.
The bottom of each lens holds your specified reading power, while the top of the lens is optimally corrected for your middle vision. An anti-glare coating helps to reduce eye fatigue from your computer screen, while spring loaded hinges and adjustable nose pieces provide a comfortable fit.
Please note: theses readers contain 2 powers. The bottom power is for regular reading, while the top power is used for computer work. The top power is approximately half of the power you select for the bottom half of the glasses.
To order these unique dual powered computer glasses, simply select the power you typically use for reading magazines, books, and newspapers from the drop down menu.

Houston |
I ordered these for my husband. They look more like women's glasses and he won't wear them. So I tried them. Personally, I don't like bifocals.

does the job! |
these computer glasses work great. I can look down at the keyboard or reading material and up at the computer monitor without moving my head or chair back and forth. Also, I can see both distances clearly. I'm glad I found Reading Glasses Shopper.

Solves the problem! |
I work in an office reviewing financial documents which have been imaged. Unfortunately, that often results in legal size docs reduced to 8 1/2 x 11, resulting in very tiny print. These glasses enable me to effectively review documents on screen against a hard copy on my desk (which also had been imaged). Regular reading glasses don't tackle the problem of the monitor - a different strength is needed - these glasses are the ticket!

Hard to clean because of film on lens |
These glasses have some kind of coating on the inside of the lens which makes in extreamly difficult to clean. Also the bifocals are in the wrong position and wrong size

Fabulous! |
These computer reading glasses far exceeded my expections. They are very high quality, both the lenses and the frame which even has springs in the hinges for a comfortable fit. And Reading Glasses Shopper kept me informed of the shipping etc.
I also love the jazzy case the glasses came in.
Just one suggestion: please consider offering some silver frames.

I love the new computer/reading glasses that I just purchased. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that my husband says they look like old lady glasses.

A Real Find |
I need one set of 2.00 specs to drive.
Another set of $2.00 glasses to read.
I have searched and searched and only via optometrists and the full mony evaluation, have I foumd bifocals. That means, you know, maybe
500,00 all in.
These really do the job @ $21. I think it was. Nice looking and solid, too.
Flaw? The high-power inserts are a little small.

Not for me |
These glasses are probably for someone with a larger head. The bifocal part of the lens is too high, and doesn\'t permit to see the computer screen. They glasses do seem to be well made though.

Great Product |
I spend about 4 hours a day at the computer. Much of that time is also spent reading. These are the best glasses I ever had, no more changing back and fourth between glasses.

Need more frame styles |
The lens gradients are perfect for my vision even though it's taking a little while for me to get used to bi-focals. I am not totally pleased with the frame design. They are called unisex, but I think they look more like a women's frame. If you were to introduce an 'aviator' style in black I think you would sell more to men.

OKAY |
THESE ARE OKAY, LIKE THE FRAMES, BUT THE PART THAT SHOULD NOT BE MAGNIFIED IS; SO IF THE ENTIRE LENS IS MAGNIFIED UP TO OR EQUAL TO 1.75, WHICH IS WHAT I NEED FOR READING, WHY HAVE A BIFOCAL LINE? I WANTED NO MAGNIFICATION IN THE UPPER PORTION FOR DISTANCE AND 1.75 IN THE READING PART OF THE LENS.

Great Glasses for the price |
These glasses are great for the computer and for the price you cant beat them. I wish they had more than just gold and these are styled more for women. The prices on these glasses are lower than what is out there right now and they are sturdy.

Houston Computer Readers |
They are a little big for my face, but I have noticed a reduction in eye strain from sitting at a computer all day at work. If I ordered again, I would get single vision. Sometimes the bifocal gets in my way. Overall a good product.
