Aloha, blog readers! How are we today? Is it sunny where you are? We’re experiencing a rare burst of winter sunshine here in Indiana – I actually had to grab my sunglasses on my way in to the office today! Besides being a nice change from the grey nastiness of last week, that was also a great way to get in the proper mindset for today’s post topic: the Andrea Sun Readers.
I love sunglasses. Besides your purse, there aren’t many other accessories that you carry around constantly – as soon as there’s even a hint of spring in the air, sunglasses join my cell phone on the list of Things-I-Am-Never-Without. They protect your vision, they keep your eyes looking young and wrinkle-free, and let’s face it, they look cool, too. Plus, my hazel eyes are naturally more sensitive to light, so I always want to make sure I have a pair of shades handy. The Andrea Sun Readers are sunglasses you’ll enjoy carrying around. My first reaction? T
hey’re so pretty! I grabbed a black and red pair, though they also come in dark brown, brown and tan, and a warm brown stripe. Each version has a beautiful scrolling pattern at the temple, with rhinestones to give them a bit of sparkle.
From the front, the sunglasses are black with just a tiny hint of red peeking through to add personality and color. The inside of the frames is a beautiful, deep red, making these glasses much more interesting and stylish than an ordinary pair of black sunglasses, and the earpieces combine the black and red with the shine of the rhinestones. Red and black is a combo that never goes out of style, and the classic
shape of the frame makes this pair of sun readers one that you can use year after year. With tinted lenses that not only provide protection from harmful UV rays but also are dark enough to wear comfortably in bright sunshine, they’re perfect for those days like today when the sun is blinding against the white snow – but let’s not think about that. Let’s think about how they would be perfect for reading beside the pool or making out the small print on a map during a sunny summer road trip. Ah, that’s more like it. At the sale price of $16.11, they’re an affordable and stylish way to protect your eyes and improve your vision. Now if the sun would just stay out the rest of the week!
Stay warm!
