Item Details:
The Seattle Computer Reader is a unique pair of bi-focal reading glasses that allow you to work at your computer and read at the same time. The bottom section of the lens is available in several magnification choices, while the top part of the lens is automatically adjusted to your perfect "middle vision" This is the vision that all of us use at the computer screen to work and play. For these glasses, the top power is approximately half of the power you select for the bottom half of the glasses.
The Seattle comes in a handsome gold frame that is great for women or men, with spring hinges and adjustable nose pieces. The rimless lenses have an anti-glare coating to increase your range of vision and each pair comes with a brown leatherette pouch to help keep your glasses safe from harm.
To purchase, simply choose the power that you typically use to read books, magazines, etc. from the drop down menu.

The Seattle Computer Reader |
Really cool-looking glasses. I love the style. Unfortunately my left eye is different than my right so I won't know if they work for me until I have cataract surgery on my left eye next week. I truly hope they will work!

Solves Computer to paper dilemma. |
I just started to wear hard contact lenses. They had an immediate impact on my ability to work from my computer. I was using to different pairs of reading glasses to read from the screen and take notes. The Seattle Computer Glasses very effectively solved this problem. In fact, I use them for all my reading needs even when not working off my computer screen.

I did not expect the glasses would be +2.5 and that that would only be the bottom of the lenses . Not pleased

Nice |
The glasses are a bit on the delicate side because the lenses are attached by screws through the lens, but they work well, are good quality and sturdy. My first pair arrived with a cracked lens where the bridge attaches, but was quickly replaced with a new pair. It is so nice that you can buy with confidence when customer service exceeds your expectations.

Great glass, but |
It would be great if these were offered in another color, gold is a bit too much bling for me.
Excellent glasses nonetheless

The Seattle Computer Reader |
I was really impressed with these glasses. I love them. I dont need to
change to different glasses all the time to view the computer and paper work
on my desk, I was very pleased that I could even watch my TV and it is in the next room. They are even better than my
prescription bifocals.
Only thing that I didnt like was the
tiny screws that hold the lenses, can
get loosen very easily . Even just by
cleaning the lens with a cloth.
I took care of that by immediately applying a tiny bit of glue on the screw. It worked out fine. I wear them
alot, I just love them. Want to order
another pair.

Good but tend to loosen |
I have had these about 3 - 4 months and they work very well, but I have had a problem with the bolts through the plastic lens loosening up. Each time it tighten them it digs into the plastic and has caused a crack to the plastic edge and will eventually fail. I am not sure that I would order this style again, but the others tend to look more feminan.

Computer Readers |
Great for what I intended, being able to read notes while working on computer. There is one slight hitch, the reader portion of the lens is small, so you can read a page sized area, but the entire keyboard is not visible without moving your head.

Okay but not perfect |
clarity is good; look is good. My only complaint is they are heavy. They seem much heavier than regular reading classes.

Great price, great glasses |
Bought these because I work at a computer all day, and got tired to having to use 2 pair of glassses, one for when I sit back, and one for when I need to read paper. Got much more expensive and hard to find glasses elsewhere, but they broke within days. These are great and holding up just fine, and I don't need to switch glasses.

Parke |
a few too many tiny nuts involved joining metal to lens. Would be easier to keep at right tightness if tiny phillips or other screws were involved. Also extreme delicate; 1st pair I ordered arrived damaged but these folks were extremely good about getting me an inspected and intact pair as replacements.

Love them |
I've never had computer glasses. Now I don't have to tilt my head back so far to see the computer screen and can also glance down to read papers on my desk. Wish I had these along time ago.

BIFOCAL |
These glasses are just what I needed and wanted after having cataract surgery. I can sit at my computer and have the medium vision necessary to see the screen clearly and when I need to glance at reading material the bi-focal allows me to read that clarly too. They are great. I bought two pair to leave at the two computers I use. I highly recommend these glasses.

I'm a pilot, and these glasses work great for seeing instruments in the "middle range", and for reading manuals and approach plates up close. Much better than using 2 sets of readers.

Distracting |
The bridge between the lenses is so wide that it gets in the line of view and you think there is something on the lenses. Very distracting.

Nice but don't hold up! |
They worked great for use on the PC and I could also use them for reading. But after a couple of months, all the joints holding the glasses together have loosened up. Build quality is poor. I am tempted to a molded set and hope for the best. Fewer parts anyway to loosen up.
